It's pretty odd and sad how our priorities from time to time back-fire. A lot of parents I know will work from dawn until dusk each day to provide the greatest future for their children, yet by doing this they might be hurting their children more than helping them. You see, monetary security is important, but it isn't the most critical issue in a kid's development. Children need continuous interaction, both with other kids and their parents. This is, after all, how they learn and develop in the early years of their lives - some-thing that will affect them for the rest of their days. The first time I purchased my children audio books on cd was when I was traveling on a business trip for some weeks. I had been reading to my little girl from the same book every night for a week or 2, and we were around halfway done with it. She was very sad to see me go, and I knew that she would truly miss that tale. On a whim, I went to the community audio book shop and found out that I could get a copy of it. At first, she was just a bit nervous about listening to the children audiobook. She told me that she wished to hear me reading it, not some tape recorder. Nonetheless, when she sussed out that I was not going to stay it does not matter how much she begged and pleaded, she relented and made the decision to listen to the kids audio books.

She actually truly enjoyed it. I like to think that she still enjoys the way I read more than she enjoys children books on cd, but I bet it's a close-call. The children audiobook readers are awesome. My diction isn't bad, and I'm a pretty emotional reader, but these are true trained actors. Your average run of the mill father just simply can not compete! They know exactly how to read kids books to make them exciting and interactive, keeping your kids on the edge til the very last page. Even though my little girl is still unhappy when I go out of town, the kids audiobooks make my trip a little bit easier on her. Both of us are quite pleased about that.
